Code Vein Alternate Mia Set Location And How To Unlock It

Unlocking custom appearance options for your companions in Code Vein gives your team a unique visual flare as you explore post-apocalyptic environments. Among the most popular cosmetic additions is the Alternate Mia set, which offers a striking variation of Mia Karnstein's signature look. Understanding how to obtain this set ensures you can customize your favorite partner while exploring high-level content.

Understanding the Requirements for Alternate Mia

The Alternate Mia outfit is tied directly to expansion content rather than the standard base game campaign. Players looking to earn this outfit must possess the Frozen Empress DLC, which is available individually or as part of the Season Pass. Additionally, accessing the necessary challenges requires reaching the end-game stages of the main story.

Locating the DLC Hub and Depths Map

To begin your journey toward unlocking the costume, you must first obtain the map for the Depths: Celestial Ice Prison. Speak with Davis at the Home Base after acquiring the appropriate items near the Crypt area in late-game progression. Once in the Celestial Ice Prison depth, activate the local mistle to register the location on your teleportation network.

Completing the Horror Hunting Trials

The outfit itself is awarded by engaging with the Horror Hunting Trials system located inside the DLC area. Specifically, you must complete the trial titled Blood Resonance: Blood Awakening to earn Outfit Change: Mia (Alternate Ver.). Meeting the trial requirements during the boss encounter will automatically reward the cosmetic item to your inventory.

Equipping the Alternate Mia Outfit

Once unlocked, applying the new outfit to Mia is a straightforward process at your base. Head to the Companion selection screen or talk to Mia before embarking on an expedition. Selecting the Alternate Version changes her appearance immediately, giving her a distinct aesthetic while keeping her combat abilities intact.
